Belleville, a neighbourhood with the feel of a small village, will surprise you for sure

The name of our Hotel La Belle Ville is partly inspired by its location: the Belleville quarter. Located in the east of Paris, the district is one of the most authentic and lively in the capital. Its past dubious reputation is now forgotten as, in recent years, it has risen to become one of the favourite parts of Paris for Parisians.

The 19th arrondissement is rich with diverse and varied players, including start-ups, restaurants, concept stores, art galleries, and even a street dedicated to street art! The birthplace of the famous and brilliant French singer Edith Piaf, this thriving little village is packed with things to do and offers a different side of Paris.

Belleville: an oasis of greenery in the heart of Paris

Belleville boasts some delightfully picturesque green spaces. The Hotel La Belle Ville is a twenty-minute walk from the famous Buttes-Chaumont, one of the largest and most beautiful parks in the capital. You will also find nearby the Edith Piaf Museum and the most famous cemetery in the world, the Père Lachaise. Don’t miss the opportunity to watch the sunset from the panoramic platform of the Parc de Belleville. It’s unforgettable! Afterwards, head down the Rue des Envierges to reach the Place Henri Krasucki, an authentic location with infallible charm.

To satisfy your taste buds, we recommend an event at the Belleville food market, one of the most anticipated of the spring. Italy will be the country in the spotlight there on May 19th and you can look forward to an evening full of fine flavours.

Pizza fans, we are waiting for you at our hotel restaurant, La Belle Pizze. We offer a unique concept in which pleasure, sharing and discovery are the key words.

Aperitif time in the heart of Belleville

Finally, if you’re looking for a lively evening out, head to the Aux Folies bar, a true Belleville institution where many of the young people of this vibrant district get together. Or head along the verdure-fringed paths of the Parc Buttes-Chaumont and stop for a glass of rosé at Rosa Bonheur or a Moscow-Mule at the Pavillon Puebla. The choice within this lush park is yours!

The Hotel La Belle Ville is as welcoming, warm, comfortable and surprising as the lively neighbourhood in which it is located. Behind our huge green façade pulses a very special energy. Ah… The Beautiful Life!
